Group Workouts

The camaraderie and support of group training is unmatched by any other training experience, athlete's become each others' cheerleaders and support systems and a victory for one becomes a victory for all. The biggest advantages of group workouts are increased motivation and the difficulty in skipping a workout since you are meeting up with others.

If you are new to the area or new to the sport it is a tremendous way to meet others with similar interests.

Train with us, it's fun and membership is not required. All training events start at 6pm unless otherwise noted on the Club Calendar.

Join us for some open water swimming in beautiful Lake Desolation! (Middle Grove, NY) Get in a group run in afterward or just head over to Tinney's Tavern for some post workout nutrition & hydration :) Thunderstorms will cancel and the 'Weekly Group Workouts' section of the Forums and the local radar on our Tools page can be checked for the latest updates (general scheduling info can be viewed on the Club Calendar.

It's fun and membership is not required so join us for a swim while you consider becoming an STC Member! (non-club members will be asked to sign a waiver). Yes, you can ride your bike there & get some serious hill training in too!

IMPORTANT PARKING INFO! Please DO NOT park in Tinney's parking lot OR in-front of their Restaurant. Tinney's graciously offers us lake access from their beach and we need to allow their customers business parking space. Instead, park on the road which is the last right just before the lake (Main St.). Thanks so much for your cooperation!
